There was a time I could wear perms and braids but that day is over. I guess the stress of pinch braids on my edges left bald spots; perms left my hair stripped and weak. Years ago (over 20) my mom got me a jheri curl and that was the best thing that ever happened to me. It seems they don’t manufacture that product any longer. My hair was beautiful and grew thick and long; unfortunately a stylist talked me into getting a perm and promised to cut my ends - she cut all my beautiful hair.
I have grown the perm out now over 7 months and wear weave ’til I can find a suitable curly perm to grow and strengthen my hair like the jheri curl did. Can you help me? Is it sold locally - my zip code is 63011.
