Taking care of your curls

Passé are the days when straight hair was considered to be stylish. Now curls are the in thing. And if you have some natural curls then nothing like it. When you were young with head full of curls then you looked adorable. But to your horror you find that as you grow, those cute soft curls have become totally unmanageable and frizzy. In fact the other day you looked like Medusa!

So what do you do now to get that adorable look back?

Well, you need to shampoo your hair and remove tangles with the help of a wide toothed comb. You must also use a good detangling product. Since curls tend to be frizzy naturally you need to take extra care of curly hair as compared to straight hair. You must use a shampoo that is free of sulphate formulation. You can wash your hair every alternate day but you must ensure that you use a conditioner on the days you do not shampoo. Since curly hair is very frizzy, you must go for a moisturizing treatment at least twice every month. You must also let your hair dry naturally as and when it is possible to do so.

    Hello Lope,

Curly weaves/track issues, should be handled by the person who applied the weave. It can be a result of poor quality hair used, etc. Take this to your stylist for assistance.
