Winter Hair Care – 2

If you are losing hair excessively, then you can consider the option of undergoing a hair loss surgery. Hair grows with a natural alignment. If you do not have hair growth for a considerable amount of time, then you can think of going in for a surgery. The surgeons will decide where they will make the required changes in the scalp and how they should go about doing it. They will need to determine the hair groupings and where they are positioned.

Hair loss surgery usually changes the hair orientation to a different shape. This will depend on how the slits are made for the development of hair growth. If the slit is lateral, then it allows a natural angle. Other slots may encourage the hair to grow in a different way. Some surgeons may feel that your hair needs to be replaced instead of slit in order to give a fuller look.

If you are considering having a hair loss surgery, then you need to ask the surgeon about the natural placement of your hair. They need to determine which way your hair will grow. They also need to figure out how to keep a right hair orientation. The right hair orientation helps you to look better.

line every hat you own with satin, poly, or silk…wool and cotton snags your hair so this will protect you from that. avoid excessive washing of the hair in winter time. mosturize daily with a leave in that DOES NOT contain petroleum products. get somthing natural or nearly natural. personally i use olive oil when the money flows, and canola oil when it dont. you want to be drinking 8 to 9 glasses of water a day, juices instead of pops, coffee….counter each cup with a glass of water…that is in addition to the 8 glases a day. buy some brewers yeast…add it to your diet along wiht proteins…liver, beef, pork, lamb, etc. lots and lots of veggies. they have hardly any calories but will give you vitamins and minerals. to the 8 oz bottle of olive oil i use on my scalp i add 5 drops of peppermint oil. olive, canola, corn, sunflower, soybean…those oils are carriers…and cheap. peppermint, sage, rosemary, tea tree oils are essential oils…they are strong adn pricy. when ever you use an essential oil…use drops to ozs. example: 8 oz of a carrier oil, to 4 to 5 drops of an essential oil. more than that is too much, will make your eyes water all day, and what the scalp doesnt need it wont take in so be lighthandd on the product. also, avoid petroleum, it doenst add moisture, it doesnt hold in existing moisture, it clogs your pores…it basicall stops your hair from growing, too much and it can make your hair fall out. wear your hair in protective styles, off of the neck…when hair sweeps the neck some clothes like wool sweaters snag and break the hair so untikl it grows past the neck you want your hair off the neck. twist are better than braids. braids can pull at the follicles if done too tightly. twist will loosen just enough for your scalp to breathe and your hair to rest while looking good. you will notice people who have twist…without a mile of gel, are not constantly tapping and scratching…thats cuz they dont hurt or itch. also, avoid excessive play in your hair. dont comb or brush it if its already styled. dont twist it around your fingers, and if its under 50 degrees outside cover your hair when you go out with a scarf or a lined hat. hope this helps you, its what works for me. blessings
