The Whipped Cream does more to help make curls look better elongated, is supremely hydrating, and makes the hair feel smoother. However, it is known for adding alot of weight to the hair. So, unless your hair doesn't have a problem handing heavy creams, then you can try using Curls Whipped Cream in your hair. I do suggest that if you do decide to try it that you get samples of it with your next order. As, you are allowed to get 3 free samples with each order. Now, Curls Whipped Cream does comes in a 8 oz. jar. Therefore, if you chose three 2 oz. samples of the Curls Whipped Cream with your next order then that would amount to 6 ozs. of product, and that definitely isn't bad!

Now, Curls Souffle does offer more curl volume and less elongation to the hair. However, it will make your hair feel smoother and more moisturized. Personally, Curls Souffle acts more like a gel curl activator in my opinion. As, the only difference is that it comes in cream form instead. And, it doesn't leave the hair greasy or overly weighed down like a lot of gel curl activators do. It also is certainly more hydrating than Curls Milkshake and has a more creamier consistency.

Right now, the weather is very hot practically all over the country. As, I live in the South and it is extremly hot and humid down here at this time. So, I have been using Curls Souffle or Curls Milkshake to style my hair with. And, that has been working out fine. My hair sweats when it gets hot, so I have put Curls Whipped Cream on the backburner for now. Now, I have Type 3b hair, and my hair is naturally very dry. My hair can handle cream stylers, whether they are light or even heavy weight. But, my hair sweats alot during this time of year. So, therefore, I have even had to adjust my own regimen to deal with the hot temps and the high humidity.

Oh, and yes you certainly can use Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner as a leave-in conditoner as well as a rinse out one. To use as a leave-in, you just rub a little bit of Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner throughout your hair while it is wet before you section of your hair to detangle it. Or, if not rinsing out all of your conditioner and leaving some still left in your hair is what you prefer to do, then that is certainly okay. As, this product was designed to nourish the hair and feed it vital organic nutients that are very beneficial to the hair. So, whether you choose to rinse it out or leave some of it in, you will be doing a great service to your hair anyways.

With any of the Curls stylers, I personally advice you to not use large amounts of it at any given time. As, you will then feel that the product is making your hair feel and look too heavy and your not going to like the finish that you receive. Alot of times, after people start transitioning they want to get that real curly defined look to their hair. However, no person's curl pattern is exactly the same. Therefore, once you learn exactly what your type of hairtexture you naturally have and how you can make it look good no matter whether it is wavy or kinky hair, then you willn finally be at peace with your hair. Because, no matter how much product one could put on their hair in one sitting, it won't change their hairtype. Honestly, only a chemical product can really do so.

Importantly, the Curls products are designed to help make the natural curl pattern that you have in your hair look better defined, which will in turn allow you to have a more consistent, frizz free curl pattern. Also, the Curls products when used continuously are also designed to help one's hair retain more moisture and shine to it.

I wish you nothing but good luck while transitioning, Jacqui. And, remember that the road that you have decided to embark upon with your hair is probably one of the best moves that you could ever make to make your hair truly healthy again!
