Hello everyone!!

I'm at the VERY beginning of my transition. I ordered the curly q products for my daughter, but since she's at grandmas house I've been using them on myself. Needless to say I'm making a special trip to Georgia to get some products from one of the salons up there. I think I have 4C hair. This is my second time transitioning to natural. The first time I tried getting a texturizer, but then i went back to getting perms. I've been transitioning for 2 weeks, but have only been using your products for the past 4 days. Like I said before I've been using my daughters Curly Q sample kit. I see a difference. My hair does appear to be more manageable than normal and there's less breakage. Do you recommend greasing the scalp? My hair is very dry where the new growth has grown at the roots and edges. I think I have 3-5 inches of growth in some areas. I tried curling my hair, and it didn't look right because of the texture of the roots is kinkier than the texture of the permed hair. Would you reccommend using the radiant ringlets as a grease for the scalp? I'm quite sure once I get my own products I will see different results, as I haven't been using nearly enough of product as I should because I'm trying to preserve some so that I can use it on my daughter's hair.
