My name is Kristen I have a Beautiful 4 year old daughter who's name is Sierrah. Her hair is this beautiful mass of tight ringlet curls that is three different shades ranging from dark to light blonde.

I love doing her hair and trying new things with it. She has come upon an age where she is not as happy with her hair as I am. She is noticing that it is different than her friends and cousins. "mommy, I want my hair on my back!" I love letting her wair it down and curly, and try to do it often. The problem is that the next day it is so dried out and notted that we have had to limit how often her hair was styled like this. I have done alright up to this point with the hair styles. I can braid, twist and many other up do's but she wants her long hair to hang down on her back like she sees other peoples. But she is at an age that she wants it to be perfect as well (drama queen ha ha ) So I will do it for her and try to do what she wants but I dont want to damage her hair because I know that in the long run the effects will be worse and worse.

So..... I am open to any tips, product suggestions, whatever you can toss my way. I have tried some new moisturizers and stuff but I am always ready to take advice from someone with ideas I have not tried. I appreciate all the help I can get but....
I really dont care to hear that I need to teach her to love it..I am trying, I never give her negetivity towards her hair, I try to make it fun and enjoyable doing her hair...
*I really do NOT mean to come off rude but the comments that I have recieved in response to her not being happy with it have been rediculious. She does not know any other children with hair like hers Soooo therefore anyone with a child at this stage knows they want to see others like themselves.... She will get through it but I am trying to keep that innocent, care free child mentality as long as I can...*
I am looking for tips and Ideas that will help her hair stay untangled, moisturized, managable and as beautiful as I know it is. I want her to see that it is so much more beautiful than she thinks. She is very patient and loves to sit down and let me do her hair. She never complains about how long she is sitting there and if by chance she wants to be done (time allowing) I let her go play until she is ready to take another run at it. I am trying to make it a positive expirence for her in every way possible. Thanks in advance for the interest in my daughter and the time to share your hair care tips and tricks with me!!
