Another 4a/b representin'! lol
Another proud 4 a/b here. I have VERY thick, tightly coiled hair, but on a good hair day, those coils look like perfect little ringlets. I usually use the Milkshake daily and the Whipped Cream when I wash and for the BOMB twists and twistouts! My hair is ultra soft in a twistout using the WC and the style will hold for a few days! I can't wait to try the Goddess Glaze. I got it as a sample and heard it is just a good as the the Curling Custard for hold. Will see and post the results. I am a product junky (not even recovering! lol). I use most of the Curls products and they have not failed me yet!
I transitioned for just over 1 year. I loved my length and was afraid of the "big chop" (that was NEVER an option for me and glad I transitioned MY WAY). It was hard dealing with the many different textures of my hair, but my patience paid off. I usually 2-strand twisted or flat twisted since I do not know how to cornrow (sad isn't it!). My hair is longer and stronger now than it ever was when I relaxed it (between my shoulder blades when stretched). Gotta love it!
Products I use are:
Curls: Milkshake, WC, Quenched, Curlicious Cleanse, Coconut Sublime or Asian Tea (love it!) conditioners. Have yet to try the Goddess Glaze and Souffle.
Kinky-Curly: Curling Custard (great stuff for really stretching out my curls!) and Knot Today (not a huge fan of this product though).
My Recipes: Shea butter, mango butter, jojoba oil, avocado oil, and vitamin E and a fragrance oil for scent. When this is melted, I used this as a scalp oil. When it is creamy/solid, I use it to moisturize my hair overnight.
