Hello!
I commend you on appreciating your daughter's natural hair and wanting it to remain that way. One ingredient in hair products to avoid is mineral oil, as it does nothing but suffocate the hair and scalp. And, vaseline is plain and simply a poor product to use on anyone's hair as it is made up of white petrolatum (a form of mineral oil). So, no matter how many times your husband's family insists on you using Vaseline on your daughter's hair, just politely tell them that you will simply pass on you using Vaseline on her hair.
From what I see from your daughter's pics, her hair needs more moisture infused into it than what the Quidad products can provide. I know all to well about having allergies to certain things, so I understand exactly what your daughter goes through.
Here's a run down of all of the CurlyQ products and a list of what nut products are in them:
Curlie Cutie Cleaninsing Cream-Horse chestnut
Coconut Dream Conditioner-Coconut
Moist Curls-Bean Tree, Shea Butter, Coconut, Wheat Germ
Milkshake-Coconut
Princess Glaze-Shea Butter, Mango, Jojoba
Radiant Ringlets-Soybean, Shea Butter, Mango, Jojoba, Evening Primrose
The ingredients of each CurlyQ product is listed on the CURLS.biz website. So, I would recommend that you print out each ingredient listing and bring or fax it to your daughter's pediatrician or allergist to see which products he/she feels would be okay for her to use, in regards to her nut allergies. As, I feel that this would be the safest way to go.
Your little one looks so precious in her picture
