Default Princess & her HAIR!!!

I have a two-year old daughter who is bi-racial ( I am Ghanian and her father is Eygptian) and her hair is a mix like no other. Mira's hair is very soft, curly and kinky in some areas. Before I started to use your products I would wash her hair with baby Aveeno and apply Palmer's Olive Oil hair grease. You would think that I would have known better but it was a lesson. To fast foward I love the way her hair smells after I wash it with the Creamy Cleanser, I moisturize with the Moisture Curls and I follow-up with the Milkshake. Her hair is very dry the next day. I have even attempted to gease her scalp with your products and that does not work either. I am doing something wrong? Mira likes to wear ponytails with barettes (other kids @ the day care have them) and she likes beads as well. I don't like to french braid her hair so I only do it maybe 1 time every 2-3 months. When I don't use Palmers Olive Oil on her head she scratches until her scalp is red and bruised with little bumps ( I have been mindful about not pulling the ponytails too tight). When I try to let her wear her hair just Curly she cries and goes to get the hair bin and asks me to comb it! I don't know what I am doing wrong. I also want to know if you have any products that will grow her hair. MIra has long hair in the front, but in the back she is bald (She does not have enough to grab in a ponytail in the lower center of her head). Is there anything I could use? I usually wash her hair once every 2-3 weeks, should I wash more frequently? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
