In the mornings, I suggest spraying your child's hair with moist Curls Moisturizer. About 5-7 sprays. Next, I suggest (if your child will be wearing their hair down) applying the CurlyQ Custard evenly throughout your child's whole head. Now, the amount you use is really dependent on how long and/or thick your child's hair is. As, you may have to use more than a quarter or even half dollar size in your child's hair by the way. So, don't be afraid to do so. Now, you will know of course if you have used too much if your child's hair feels overly moist to the touch afterwards.

If your child will be wearing a curly pontail, I would suggest you spraying it with Moist Curls first. Then you would apply Curly Q Custard (only because it is more hydrating than the Milkshake) and then comb it through for even distribution and detangling purposes. Next. you would affix your child's hair into a ponytail by using either a scrunchie or a ponytail holder. Never use rubberbands or an elastic ponytail holder to put your child's hair into a ponytail with. Always use something that is soft and that won't break the hair.

If you even want to put your child's hair in individual plaits, you would foolow the same steps with the Moist Curls however you would use the Milkshake instead of the Custard.

With any of the Curly Q stylers, you can mix a little bit of oil with them to really amp the moisture level and softness of your child's hair. Some good hair olis happen to be: jojoba, coconut, pomegranate, etc.
Thanks so much! I will definitely try adding the oil. I still have a little that I bought from your site some time ago. I don't see it anymore. Have you stopped selling it?

Thanks again for your help! Your products have really saved both of my daughter's and my hair.

Question, my son is gwroing an afro and his hair is EXTREMELY dry in the morning. I spray it with moist curls every morning. Should I give him a hot oil treatment too?
