Latanya, do you have a picture of your daughter's hair that you could upload? As, this would me a chance to correctly match her hairtype(s), by looking at it visually.

Also, on the CURLS.biz Home Page, you will see the following "LEARN ABOUT CURLS". Once you place your cursor directly over this caption, a number of options (underneath) it will appear. You would choose CURLS Product Guide, and then click on it. Next, you would scroll down the CURLS Product Guide page until you get to the CURLS Hair Texture Chart. As, this chart was designed to be a helpful aid in distinguishing one's hairtype(s).

Now no matter what hairtype(s) you daughter has here's what will be needed to properly care for her natural curls:

1. Wide-toothed Comb
2. 100% Boar Bristle Brush (Natural bristle brush)
3. Hydrating Shampoo
4. Moisturizing Conditioner
5. Liquid moisturizing, detangling, and conditioning spray
6. Creamy hair product(s)

These products are optional: glaze/gel for extra hold, natural hair oil(s) for scalp dryness and/or added hair lubrication, and a glosser for adding extra shine to the hair. Also, when it comes to hair elastics, always use the Goody "Ouchess" ones. And, always cut them out of the hair to make for easier removal.
