Even though I am not Mahisha, I can offer you this advice:

You would be doing the correct thing by detangling your curls after co-washing. As, anytime that you throughly cleanse & condition or even just co-wash your hair you should detangle it while it is soaking wet. And, to help with the detangling process it is always best to spray Curls Quenched (for adults) or CurlyQ's Moist Curls (for children) all over the head first (after rinsing out the conditioner of course).

I don't wash my hair everyday. Instead, I do so only once a week. Therefore, the only time that my hair gets detangled is on the day that I wash and condition my hair. So, if you were someone that only wet your hair once a week, then detangling once a week would be enough. But, for someone who wets their hair on a daily basis, then detangling would take place on a daily basis, instead of only once a week.

Hope this info helps!
