Hey Melva!

The It's A Curl Baby Line is designed to wash, condition, and style babies hair. Some babies are born with a full head of hair, wile there are some that are born with no hair at all on their head. So, after bringing the baby home, if it has alot of hair on its head, the parent would then begin, cleansing, conditioning, and styling the babies hair with the products. Now, for all of those babies whose hair doesn't really sprout up until they are around a month old, then the parent would wait until then to begin using the Its A Curl products.

Now, for the CurlyQ products it is okay to start using the products when the child is around 2 years old, or even 1 in your case.

A newborn's hair will be very soft in texture. Now, as one matures the person's hair may become curlier, or stay loose in texture. Also, it may become coarser as well. What really defines one's hairtype is their genetic background, in essence, the combining of their parents DNA makeup.

A large number of Black people do have hair that is coarse and even on the kinky side. However, there are still Blacks that do have a looser texture of hair. So, it is never a given that someone who has a one or two parents of African descent will naturally end up with coarse hair.

I am glad that you got your daughter started early on the CurlyQ products are you are providing good haircare for your daughter. Now, I can tell you in regards to getting your daughter to look equaly as good wet as it does dry, I would suggest you using the CurlyQ Custard on your daughter's hair for styling purposes and then using a small amount of the Radiant Ringlets on your daughter's hair last just to add extra shine and softness to it.

After you wash your daughter's hair, spray it with the Moist Curls and then section your daughter's air off. Second, take the first section, begin detangling it with a 100 boar bristle brush always making sure to detangle from the bottom working your way up to the top. Third, apply the Custard to to the first section always making sure to thoroughy smooth it through. Fourth, you will braid the hair and then move on to the next section and repeat the whole process all over again. Once you have finished detanging, aplying product, and braiding your daughter's hair all over, then you would just let it airdry. BTW, on the end of each individual braid, you can put a barrette, if you are afraid that the braids will become loosened while your daughter sleeps. Or, you could just twist the ends of each individual braid into a curl (as this would be good option two).

In the morning, you would first take down each individual braid. Second, you spray your daughter's hair with the Moist Curls and then massage it in. Third, you would apply the Custard to your daughter's hair, making sure to thoroughly smooth it through with your fingers. Fourth, you would let the hair dry for a minute or two. And, lastly you would take small amounts of the Radiant Ringlets to your daughter's hair making sure to pay special attention to your daughter's hairline and crown for added smoothness.

I am sure that your precious baby's natural curls look beautiful, so if you have a picture of her hair that you can share, then it would be a great thing to do!

Also, congratulations on your pregnacy and, and your up and coming baby girl!
