I am an african american woman and my family believes I should not use curls because it is not made for "kinky curls". Well I have done my research and learned everything (hair grease) for childrens hair in the beauty supply shops has mineral oil and petroleum in it. I am grateful for your products. Using your product everyday and seeing the outcome of my daughters hair, puts a smile of my face. I am getting the word out about the important of healthy children's hair...CURLY Q!!

Welcome!
The Curls products are designed to be used by people who have Type 2 thru Type 4 hairtypes. Therefore, anyone who has way all the way up to kinky hair can use products from this line. So, your daughter's type 4B grade of hair is perfect for using these products. As, this line is not exclusively for people who have looser grades of hair at all. Instead, it is a multitude of naturalky curly hairtextures instead.
Type 4s often think that they don't have curly hair. But, this isn't true. As, a Type 4 hairtype consists of tight and densely packed coils. And, coils are just another named for curls that are noticeably tighter in shape.
I applaud you for using quality products on your daughter's hair. As, most drugstore products contain poor ingredients in them such as mineral oil or petrolatum. And, they do absolutely nothing for the hair except give a false illusion of providing deep down moisturization to the hair. So, by not using products that have poor ingredients in them, then you are certainly doing the right thing by using natural products with quality ingredients on your daughter's hair instead.
