Rose, what are all of the products that you normally use on your hair? And, how do you use them?
Now, for a curl-holding gel there's Curls Goddess Glaze. It gives maximum curl hold, added definition, and frizz protection. I personally don't use any typical gels in my hair to style it with at this time. As, I prefer to use creams or lotions in my hair now because they leave my hair feeling mich softer. Now, if you are someone that doesn't mind using a gel that would give your curls lots of hold to it, then the Curls Goddess Glaze would definitely be best for you to use. However, if you would like to use more of a soft holding gel to help keep frizz at bay, then using an activator type gel would be your best bet. Two good activator gels that I have personally tried are Proclaim's Curl and Wave Activator Gel (Sally's) or Smooth N Shine's Curl Activator Gel (Can be found practically in every store).
And, when it comes to using any gel, remember to start out with lesser amounts and then add slightly more amounts if necessary. As, your are trying to give your curls more of tamed and frizz free look with out making it look plasticy (too stiff and coated) w/ typical gels or greasy (overly weighed down) w/activator gels.
