Rose, good luck on your trip in July to Toronto!
Thanks for supplying me with a list of all of the products that you use on your har. As, this was very helpful. Now, since you do have experience using Curls Goddess Glaze, and you still want to experiment with using other gels to see how they may perform in your hair, then it is totally okay and certainly understandable.
Now activator or other moisturizing gels can surely give you a sleeker look around the hairline and help with frizz. They do offer moisture and controlability to curly hair, however they don't offer much hold. So if that is okay with you, then trying them out is certainly worth a shot.
And, even if can't locate either of the gels mentioned (in my earlier post), then just look out for any gel that contains the word "moisturizing" listed in its product description and offers more of a soft, natural hold to it as well. Also, make sure that any gel that you do purchase does not contain "alcohol" or "pvp" in it. As, these are two known ingredients that will defintely rob your hair of moisture in a huge way.
