Hello and Welcome!

From what you have described, you have been relaxing your hair over the course of several years, right? So, if it is chemical relaxers that have been causing the breakage in your hair then, by all means I would suggest this to you: try spacing out the amount of time that you wait between getting your hair relaxed and definitely try limiting the amount of heat that you use on your hair as well.

Oh, and it is certainly okay if you want to use the Curls products to help in geting your hair healthy again, as the Curls line has a lot of reparative ingredients in their products. Also, I feel that what would be of help to your hair as well is "less manipulation". You could start bunning your hair, which is what a great number of gals do in order to achieve more length and healthiness to their hair. Or, you could wear you hair in curly hairstyles, in order to help play up your natural texture.

Also, because your hair is showing signs of breakage and brittleness, you would be better off using a non-sulfate cleanser to wash your hair with. As, a non-sulfate hair cleanser will help your hair to retain more of its moisture and not cause further moisture loss or brittleness to your hair.

And, certainly don't forget about doing deep treatments with heat at twice a month for now. And, then over time after your hair has regained back its health, then you can drop down to only doing them once a month.

I wish you nothing but good luck in bring your hair back to its natural glory again! And, if you have any further questions you can always share then here anytime.
