Welcome Reb621! Your daughters all have such beautiful natural curls!

I am glad that you included pics of each of your daughters hair. As, I can see from each picture that their hairtypes are definitely different from each other.

Your daughter in the first picture mentioned has Type 3 A hair. Your daughter mentioned in the second picture has type 3C curls. And, your daughter mentioned in the last picture has type 3B curls.

Here's what I suggest for you:

1. Try using the Curly Q Curlie Cutie Cleansing Cream in your daughter's hair, instead of the Carol's Daughter cleanser. As, this change may provide better moisturizing benefits to your daughter's hair while it is first being cleansed.

2. After shampooing with the Curly Q Cleansing Cream, then apply the Coconut Dream Conditioner in your daughters hair and comb it through with a wide-toothed comb, put a plastic cap over their heads, and then let it sit in their heads for at least 20-25 minutes before rinsing it out of their heads.

3. After you rinse out the conditioner, you would lightly blot away any excess moisture from your daughter's hair. However, you daughter's will need to stay relatively wet for adequate product application.

4. Section your daughter's hair off in to either 4 or more sections.

5. Take one section down, spray it with Curly Q Moist Curls, detangle it with a natural-haired boar bristle brush, and then next apply CurlyQ Milkshake or CurlyQ Custard. CurlyQ Milkshake for the Type 3A daughter's hair and CurlyQ Custard for your other 2 daughers hair.

6. After you apply styling product to the first section, then thoroughly smooth it through, and braid that section.

7. Once you have finished braiding up the first section, then move on to the next section and repeat the same process (spray-detangle, apply product, and smooth through).

8. Once you have finished detangling, applying product, and braiding their hair, then just let it airdry.

9. In between hairwashes, always make sure that the children's hair are covered with a plastic cap before they get in the bathtub to bathe. As, this will protect their hair from getting wet.

10. Wearing the hair protected at night is a must. Now, you have the option of using a satin pillowcase and/or satin bonnet or satin scarf. The local beauty supply stores and even such mass-grocers like Wal-Mart sell these particular items. There's a new type of satin product called "Stay-On Satin". It is designed to prevent breakage and save hairstyles better than any ordinary satin. I bought it from Wal-Mart down the isle where they sell the hair brushes and hair elastics on. Its what I use in addition to using a satin pillowcase to sleep on. I used to use the regular hair bonnets but they would have a habit of coming unfastened while I slept. With the "Stay On Satin" it never comes off while I sleep, which makes it a dream come true for me. You can find out more about this product at Stay On Satin™.

11. At night, before the kids go to bed, detangling their hair with product in it, is another good way to help keep tangling problems at a minimum. You would of course section off their hair, apply CurlyQ Moist Curls, then detangle with the natural boar-bristle brush (always working from the bottom to the top). And, if you get to a spot that has a major tangle to it, then just spray a bit more of the CurlyQ Moist Curls to further loosen the tangle. After you have got out all of the tangles on that first section, then apply either the Curly Q Milkshake or CurlyQ Custard to their hair and braid up that section. Nw, once you have finished one section, then just go on to the next and repeat the same process all over again.

Oh and also, with any order that you place, you have the option of choosing three free product samples to your order. Therefore, I would suggest that you pick the CurlyQ Radiant Ringlets and Goddess Glaze as your sample products. As, I noticed that you mentioned about your daughter's hair not being able to stay completely smooth around the edges. So, because either product has the ability to smooth the hair, then trying these products could be of an advantage to your daughters hair as well.
