I usually to wash it one a week and put it up and leave it until the next wash. Will her hair be less tangled if I take it out every night? I am a single mom with little time to do that. We leave the house so early (6:30 up by 5:30) that I do not really have time to put it up everyday. What suggestions can you make? Her hair is really soft, long about to her waist (she is 4'9"), very poofy if left alone but just a real nightmare to brush and style. I hate to hurt her but I want her to have nice hair styles. I read the suggestions on how to care for it. I do use your shampoo, conditioner, and moisterizer. She uses the milkshake on it daily. If doing her hair in the morning and at night is what needs to be done then I definately will do it. I heard a rumor that she should not get her hair wet everyday that it causes the hair to tangle more. Is that true? Do you take the hair out of the covered bands before she gets in the shower? I know this is alot to ask but I want to be sure I am doing everything I can for my little girl. Thanks for the help.
Here's some much needed helpful information:

On wash day, wash and deep condition your daughter hair with the recommended products from th Curly Q's line (Curlie Cutie Cleansing Cream and Coconut Cream Conditioner). After rinsing out the conditioner, section your daughter's hair off into 4 parts. Take down a section, spray it with Moist Curls Moisturizer, and then begin detangling that sction always working from the bottom upwards. After detangling, proceed to braid that section. And, at the end of the braid make sure to put a twistie or scrunchie on it to keep the braid from coming loose. Now, once you have finished braiding the first section, then you just repeat the same practice over again-spray, detangle, braid.

The next morning, you would take down the braids. Next spray a few sprays of Moist Curls Moisturizer all over your daughter's hair, making sure to spray your hair from the top working on down to the ends. Now, if you want to put your daughter's hair in a ponytail, apply about the size of a half dollar of the CurlyQ Milkshake to your daughter's hair (you can add more if your daughter's hair is very dry or relatively thick) and evenly distribute it all over your daughter's head. Lastly, you would comb the product through and just pull your daughter's hair back into a ponytail and use a scrunchie or barrette to affix the ponytail into place. Another styling option would be a long single braid down her back. Also, for special occasions you can let her wear her hair completely down, and just just replace the CurlyQ Milkshake with the Custard.

At night inbetween hairwashings, you would just simply take her hair out of the single braid or ponytail. And, next simply place the child's hair in a low ponytail. Your child's hair doesn't need to be combed twice day, unless you wash it everyday. But, because your child's hair is prone to tangling it is always best to comb it by first dampening it in the morning with the Moist Curls Moisturizer first. As, it will allow the comb to glide better through your child's hair.

Oh and by the way, I just wanted to clear something up about wetting or rinsing the hair down every day with water only. Water alone is dehydrating to the hair. Which is why, it is best to do conditioner rinses on the hair if you feel the need to lightly cleanse it inbetween your regular washings.

Good luck! And, if you have any more questions, definitely feel free to ask them at any time!
