I am not first generation biracial but my hair is quite the combination. No kinks, loose curls, lots of hair. I think I am a 2C/3A. I either weigh my curls down with product, or not put enough in and it is poofy. However, I think the Whipped Cream is working for my hair and I need to practice putting just the right amount in.
My daughters are 3 and 2. One has 2C/3A and the other one... I don't know. her hair is seven inches long and curls up to 3 1/2 inch pencil sized curls. I tried the custard on her and her hair laughed at me. Her curls dry up, shrink and are so dull. i want to try the Whipped Cream on her, just to weigh her curls down and hopefully give her some shine. Also, she is three and her she has a very unusual hairline. She seems to have a short hairline, then a couple of centimeters back another hairline that goes way back one either sidethat is made of thin, wiry hairs that don't curl unless I twist them. You can see her scalp very easily. My sister in law has hair loss (alepicia.) I don't want that to happen, but my husband's side hair is not dense at all. Will your Kaviar serum help, or is this just genetic??

Hi!
Well, the Curls line is for males and females that have relaxed, texturized, natural or transitioning hair. And, even though Curls was originaly created because there was an absence of products for biracial and multiethnic curlies, Curls now caters to people of all racial backgrounds. So, as long as you have hair, then you can use the Curls products.
Now, because you have looser type curls you may want to go with either Curls Milkshake or Whipped Cream as your everyday styler. As, it may weigh down your hair to much. Now, only if your hair is very dry and frizz prone, would I recommend that you use Curls Whipped Cream on a daily basis. And, even then, I would suggest that you apply it in small amounts only.
All of the Curls stylers are designed to be used over Curls Quenched versus using them strictly alone. So, if you did not purchase Curls Quenched to use along with Curls Whipped Cream then I highly recommend that you do so. As, this will yield you the best results.
Because you daughters have tywo different sets of curl types, I would sugest you do the following: Use CurlyQ Moist Curls, Custard, and Radiant Ringlets on the daughter whose curls are more tightly wound. And, on the daughter whose curls are looser in texture, you would use the CurlyQ Moist Curls and Milkshake to style with.
Overall, I would suggest that you use the products mentioned plus add the CurlyQ Curlie Cutie Cleansing Cream and Coconut Dream Conditioner to give your daughters a complete regimen. I can tell you that your daughters hair can be made more manageable and healthier through the use of the CurlyQ line. But, it will take patience and consistency. However, over time, you will start to see more and more popstive changes begin to occur on your daughters hair that you keep them on a consistent regimen.
Your 3 year old daughter's hairline may be thin due to genetics or even due to overmanipulation caused by certain hairstyles or hair ornaments. And, there are some children who have a slow growth spurt when it comes to their hair. So, I wouldn't be too concerned with her hairline looking thin. As, she is still very young.
The Curls Champagne Curls and Kaviar Kinks Restoration Treatment is designed for late teens all the way thru adulthood usage. So, once your daughter gets around the age of 17, then she can start using the Treatment to help in aiding her problem.
