Yes, it can be used as a heat protectant. After you have blown out the child's hair, then you take two dabs of the Radiant Ringlets, rub it betwen your fingers to warm it up, and then smooth it over the child's hair, smoothing from the top to the bottom.
Next, you take a small section of hair and then you flat iron or press it (whichever you prefer) to get it to look very sleek and straight. And, after you have pressed or flatironed the first small piece of hair, then you just take another small section of hair and repeat the same process. After straightening the child's hair, then you just wrap it and then cover it with a scarf.

Oh, and when using any type of direct heat on children's hair, I suggest that you do not practice this on a daily basis. As, children's hair is entirely too fragile for this. The most that I would sugest you using a straightening tool on a child's hair is no more than twice a month maximum.

Also, I do not recommend you putting Radiant Ringlets on the child's scalp as a conditioning & moisturizing agent. As, it does have a natural plant-based wax in it (Candelillia wax). And, no type of wax should ever be used on the scalp. Because, it can possibly clog the child's scalp. Therefore, I do suggest you use either coconut oil, sweet almond oil, pomegranate oil, or olive oil on your child's scalp instead.

Her hair looks nice but it's after I spent awhile doing it using products that after a couple days, leave her hair looking dirty. Please reply when you get a chance. Thanks!

Hello, sorry for the late reply, I will talk pictures of my daughters hair and send them. How have you like using the poducts so far?
