Finallynatural you can do daily conditioner rinses. As, there's there's nothing wrong with that. Now, if you were using shampoo or just water alone on your hair everyday then I would certainly say no to that.
First off a curly's best friend is either a satin pillowcase or satin bonnet. As, either item will surely keep your hair from becoming tangled and matted overnight.
Now, are you detangling your hair only once a week while it is wet? As, detangling your hair while it is damp or even dry will encourage frizz.
After you wash your hair, it is always best to spray it with a detangling-conditioning spray. As, this type of product will provide moisturing, detangling, and conditioning to the hair and help in sealing out frizz. And, once you have sprayed you hair, you begin sectioning it into parts.
Once you have taken a part to work with, you begin detangling working from the bottom up to the top. Now, once you have finished detangling that particular section, you apply product to it, always making sure to properly smooth it through. Once you finish doing so, you just move on to another section and repeat. And, lastly you just let your hair airdry.
I am one of those people who prefers to use products that say that they can be used on both wet and dry hair. As, I only wash my hair once a weeek. And, I certainly have to keep it looking good inbetween.
Do you know that you can use activator gel in the hair to keep your curls looking defined, moisturized, and allow you to get second day hair as well. My favs are Proclaim Activator Gel. It comes in a 32 oz tub at Sally's. Also, there is Smooth N Shine's Activator Gel two (as you can find this product at Wal-Mart, Family Dollar, etc.). Now if you don't want to go the activator gel route, there's a good styling lotion that you can find in either CVS or some of your local beauty supply stores. It's called Africa's Best Organics Texture My Way Curlkeeper Moisturizing Lotion.
If you are interested in trying products from the Curls line here's what I would recommend:Curliscious Cleansing Cream, Asian Hair Tea Conditioner, Quenched Moisturizer, Curls Souffle, or Whiped Cream.

Moisturizing Quencher use for Long hair
I am a 3b/3c and my hair is past my shoulders once dried naturally in it's curly state. I tried to follow the product demo when I received my products a few days ago and I'm wondering exactly how much Moisturizing Quencher I should be using. It seems from the amount I used that I will go though the bottle in two weeks. Is that normal?

It depends really on how thick or how long your hair is. I have BSL length, medium-to-coarse curls. On wet hair or dry hair, I spray Curls Quenched all over my head. And, I use approximately 5-7 sprays.
Curls Quenched is designed to be used as a prep or 2nd day hair refresher. As, it can be used alone or used under any of the Curls stylers.
I would suggest you sticking to no more than 7 sprays of Curls Quenched all over your head daily. As, anymore than that may cause your hair to become oversaturated and take longer to dry.

Thanks soblessed. I think something is wrong with the pump because it doesn't actually spray it's more of a stream. Which is why I think I had to pump so many times. It's mostly fine with a few coarse strands. But, I have a ton of actually. Most people think it's thick but it's not! I will try to fix the pump. Hopefully that will work. Thanks again!!

Yeah, Curls Quenched does come out in a stream instead of a wide mist. If the bottle's nozzle bothers you, then you can always transfer the solution from the Curls Quenched Moisturizer bottle into another bottle with a mist sprayer nozzle attached instead. So, that way you can still enjoy the same benefits of the product, but have it be dispersed differently according to your individual need.

hello!
yep...the sprayer does spray in a strong stream to quickly penetrate the hair vs. lightly misting the hair. fine mist sprayers are reserved for hair sprays and finishing sprays. our moisturizers are created to wet the hair to refresh the curls in the morning.
we are looking for a more forceful mist sprayer to satisfy your requests. we have from several of our customers requesting such.
the search is on!

Lilmsrosie87, I am not a Type 4, however I just wanted to give you this advice:
I don't know exacty how porous or not your hair is. But, if it is very dry and it takes a lot of product to keep it hydrated all day, then I would suggest you trying the Milshake+Whipped Cream Combo first on wet, freshly cleansed hair. And, then after you hair has dried, then you can gage just how welll your hair responds to the layering of the two.

I have outlined clear instructions here for product usage. Let us know if you have any questions.
• Day 1- STEP 1 - Cleanse - Curlicious Curls Cleansing Cream (or Pure Curls Clarifying Shampoo IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME USING CURLS….to remove build up from other products).
• STEP 2 -Condition with Coconut Sublime Moisturizing Conditioner or Curl Ecstasy Hair Tea conditioner). Section hair (starting in the back) Apply STEP 3 – Moisture - Quenched Curls moisturizer generously throughout hair.
• Follow up with Step 4 – Style. Choose 1 of our 4 styling products (Curls Milkshake, Curl Souffle, Whipped Cream or Curls Goddess Glaze). Scrunch the product into moisturized hair before moving on to the next section of the head. Repeat on the next section…until you end up at the top of your hair. Allow to dry.
• Day 2 - Freshen up the hair with Quenched Curls moisturizer in the am to refresh, hydrate and to revive the curl. If needed, touch up with your styling product of choice.

What do you do on day 3 and 4 etc?
