Your curls are so beautiful Fyb87 ! From your pictures, you have Type 3C, naturally thick curls. You of course can use Curls Cleansing Cream and Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner to cleanse and condition with. And, for stylers, you would need Curls Quenched Moisturizer and Curls Curl Souffle.
You can start off with just Curls Quenched and Curls Souffle and then try the rest of the products that I mentioned at a later time, if you'd like. Also, I do suggest you getting the Denman No. 4 Brush as well. As, it will help with not only detangling but also lengthening too.
Also, if you are not sleeping with a satin bonnet on your head at night to protect your hair while you sleep, then I definitely suggest your getting one. You can find cheap ones in Wal-Mart as well as at beauty supply stores.
Thanks so much for sharing pics of your hair with the forum. As, you've got some gorgeous hair on your head, my friend !

Great. Thanks so much! When those pics were taken I was using the Cleansing Cream, Coconut Sublime Conditioner, Curls Quenched Moisturizer and Milkshake. However, I couldn't get 2nd day hair with just using the CQM and Milkshake (well...I could if I was doing a twist out). I believe the lady I buy my curls products from has the Asian Tea Hair Conditioner so I will purchase that next week. I sleep on satin sheets with satin pillowcases (I'm hot natured) as well as a satin scarf. I will be buying a bonnet today though along with a Denham No 4 brush (normally use wide tooth comb). Oh, I know most people tend to think I have thick hair but in actuality it isn't. Most of my hair is really fine, however I do have a few coarse strands thrown in. I just have a lot of hair! When I flat iron you can really see how thin it is so I don't wear it like that too often.
I appreciate all of the feedback and I can't wait to try the Denham brush tomorrow to see how much length it will give me.

Oh, that was your hair with the Curls products in it! As, your hair really looks great in those pics! Oh, I also suggest in addition to getting the Asian Hair Tea Conditioner, to also pick the Curls Souffle. As, the Curls Milkshake isn't as curl defining as the other two Curls styling creams-Curls Souffle and Whipped Cream. So, since you don't find the Curls Milkshake as defining as you'd like it to be to your hair, then I definitely do recommend you trying the other styling cream instead.

Okay...the retailer that sells the curls products in my area was out of the Milkshake and Souffle (which my teenage son loves) so I bought the Curly Q's Milkshake and Custard. Yesterday I used the Milkshake and it was okay. However, today I used the Custard and now that it's finally dry (washed at 6am and it's now 1pm) it turned out great. Better, than the Milkshake and Souffle. So, I'm going to use that from now on. My curls are really defined and shiney!! Which I absolutely love. Also, it didn't get as poofy. Can't wait to see what the results are when I get the Denham Brush and use it tomorrow. Will definitely post an update and most likely a pic if I remember! Thanks again!

What is my hair type
I thought that I had type 3 hair but from what I have read type 3 hair gets straighter when it is wet but gets curlier as it dries. It seems that my hair gets curlier when wet and then straightens out when it is dry. So maybe I am a 2c/3a. The pictures below are of my hair when it is damp just after I washed a section of it and a picture of it dry after applying whipped cream to a section of my hair. I have tried the curl soufflé and I really like how it moisturizes my hair. I have also sampled the whipped cream and it defines my curls really well. What hair type would you classify my hair as?

I do very much appreciate your uploading pictures of your hair for me to see!
Now, for me to get a 100 percent clear idea of how many textures you have on your head, I would actually need to see a broader picture of your hair. As, the pictures that you have are only showing small sections of hair. However, when it comes to classifying the sections of hair that you showed me, I can clearly see that you have Type 3C hair. As, the curls that I see in your picture aren't loose enough to be of either the Type 2C or 3A variety. But, because I don't know how your hair's texture is all over your head, I don't know if your hair is Type 3c all over or if you have a combination of hair textures going on instead.
On another note, I would like to add that your curls do look nice in the pictures that you took with the Whipped Cream in it. So, it definitely seems like you have mastered applying the Whipped Cream to your hair perfectly.

What is my hair type ?
I have been looking at the hair care regime for 3cs that you have provided in other threads. I will be trying that. At first when I used the quenched curls hair spray, I didn't like it because it seemed to dry my hair out. I have learned that it was because I was putting too much of it on my hair and hoped to use only one product to get my hair to look the way I wanted it to. I have used the quenched curls hairspray again only to dampen it and then I have applied the curl soufflé and I was satisfied with the results. I don't have pictures of that as of yet. What do you think about using silicones such as dimethicone in hair? To provide a broader picture of my hair, I have provided pictures of my hair after I have used a detangler and braided my hair, and then I took it down for a crimped look. I don't know if this helps. Right now, my hair is flat ironed so I won't be able to provide a full picture of my hair right after it has been shampooed as of now.

Hey!
Yes, when one has dry or even thick hair, I wouldn't recommend using the Quenched Curls Moisturizer by itself. So, I am glad that you use the Souffle along with the Quenched Curls. And, I am happy that you got good results with this combination too.
Some people don't like using cones in their hair, however I am not one that is anti-cone. So, whether you decide to use cones in your hair it really goes back to your personal preference. I only use a product that has cones in it when I choose to flat iron my hair. But, I certainly don't use products that have cones in them all the time, as I don't want to risk possibly having to deal with possible buildup problems as a result.
I am happy to see that you did include more pictures of your hair. So, that way I can see it in a broaders spectrum. And, from what I am able to see, you do have predominant Type 3C hair.
