Welcome Naturally_coily and Sgallo
!I am a PJ by heart, so I am right there with you Sgallo! Sgallo, because you are a 4b/c doesn't mean that your hair doesn't have a curl to it. Its just that the your curls are more more condensed than say a Type 3 hairtype. Therefore, you have what is commonly known as tight coils.
Do you have a Denman brush? As, the Denman No. 3 or 4 are what alot of natural ladies use to detangle and help elongate their curls. The Denman brush is a good brush to use to detangle and help smooth out your curls while your hair is wet. As, a curly is never to brush their hair when it is dry. And, Curls does sell Denman Brush No.3, in case you are interested in getting one.
You can use Curls Goddess Glaze, as it is very good at adding extra curl definition, providing extra hold, and protectig your curls against frizz. Also, you can twist your hair with it and it will hold the curl in for a longer period of time. Therefore, you wouldn't need to keep re-twisting your hair everyday.
And, at night if you aren't already sleeping on a stain pillowcase or covering your head with a satin bonnet, I would suggest that you protect your curls at night by either sleeping on a satin pillowcase or covering your head with a satin bonnet. As, this will keep your curls from losing much of their form overnight and protect them from tangling as well.
