Default Hi from Michigan!

Hello! I'm originally from Alabama but I'm temporarily located in Michigan. I've been using Curly Q products on my daughter since last year and bought the It's a Curl line for my son. I began trying some of their products for my hair recently and will be purchasing some of the Curls for women line. I can't wait until the summer so I can wear my curls down full time.

I get my hair straightened during the winter months but not with chemicals. I've only had one relaxer and vowed never to do that again!

Default Hello Baybelle!

Hi Baybelle! Welcome to the Curls Forum!

You sound like such a down to earth person. Well, I am sure that your children have such lovely heads of hair! Also, I feel you on never letting chemicals touch my head again. As, relaxers are simply to harsh for any one's head.

Oh and I can't wait for the summer two!

How do you straighten your hair with no chemicals? Is there any safe way to straighten curls on a temp basis without having to grow out the curls again?

I get my hair what some people call flat ironed/pressed. It takes a lot of heat that's why I only do it during the colder months. Every 4-6weeks.
