What attracted you to the Curls line?

Well, what really attracted me to the Curls line was that it addressed naturally curly hair, especially for women of color. I had tried alot of other products and product lines that either didn't really address my curly hair needs or that weren't specifically designed for people of color. So, when I came to the Curls website and saw a picture of Mahisha and read about her personal story about her hair, then I knew that I had found a line that could really be helpful to me. I am a person of color who is of Black/White/Mexican racial makeup. And, when I decided that I would start wearing my hair naturally curly there were hardly any haircare companies out there that even dared to say that they could specifically address the needs of Black, Biracials, or Multi-ethnic people with naturally curly hair. Therefore, I went out on a limb and decided to try the products and I have been satisifed with the good results that they have given me.

I was actually using products by another curl company BB and was merely getting ready to purchase my first batch of goods from the UK as I had previously got them from the US site and stumbled upon CURLS. I found the names very interesting and tasty (Curls Milkshake and Curls Souffle etc) and couldn't resist having a look at the other products. Due to this I just thought I must try the products out and have remained a Curls customer since. It's now been 1 year and 4 months since I joined Curls in the kitchen.
