Hair Breakage
Are you someone who is suffering from hair breakage? If so, where on your head is the brakage occurring? And, are you currently using any products to help address this issue or not?

My oldest daughter's hair seems like it is starting to break off in the front. The front of her hair is a lot dryer than the rest of her hair. It's not really obvious because she always wears it curly. I'm worried though if I don't get it under control then she won't be able to wear it straight sometimes when she gets older. I hate to cornrow it because it make the breakage a little more obvious. I had that problem up until I was like 13 and started doing my own hair.

Elena, what products do you currently use on your daughter's hair, how many days a week is your daughter's hair washed, and what is used for detangling your daughter's hair (comb, brush, or fingers)?
I am asking these specific questions, as the answers to them will allow me to better help your daughter.

I experienced some breakage in the crown area most likely due to color processing. But I started protein treatments and I have noticed an improvement.
Specifically I rotate between the aphogee, protein treatment by Komaza Hair Care, and Aubrey Organics GPB.
All three work really weel, but I prefer the Komaza and Aubrey because they are the most natural products.

Mikosbelle, doing protein treatments to help with your hair's breakage was a good thing to do. As, the protein will help with repairing and restrengthening your hair.
And, yes, using chemical hair dyes to color the hair do cause breakage issues for a lot of people. So, I am glad that you are being proactive and using products that you are using heavy duty products to help repair your hair's breakage problems.
The Aphogee treatment is very heavy duty, so I am glad that you are switching back and forth between that product and the other two mentioned.
Have you ever tried Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner on your hair? As, this is a deep conditioning product that can be used with or without heat and it is good for damaged hair, by the way.

Yes I have two big bottles of the asian hair tea deep conditioner. Both of my bottles list different ingredients. Does the conditioner have cones in it? I am trying to eliminate cone use completely to cut down on dryness and brittle ends.

The Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner bottle that I have doesn't have any cones listed in the ingredient listing. As, it has the same ingredient listing as what is listed on the Curls website. Do either of the bottles that you own have cones in them? As, if there are cones listed in either bottle, then you probably have a somewhat older formulation.

Yes my hair breaks off in the back of my head. I just recently had the entire bottom third of my hair break off. I have no idea what to use to help it. I've been using olive oil shampoos and conditioners to help add moisture. It seemed to help initially but now it doesn't. I'm ordering Curls products as I type lol. I've used Kemi oil as well for dryness and various other creams from the beauty supply store that claim to prevent breakage. None of them have worked.

Lovinbabygabi, I'm glad that you ordered Curls products to help you gain control over your hair's breakage. As, they really should be of a lot of help to you. Also, do you sleep on a satin pillowcase or do you cover your head with a satin bonnet or scarf before going to bed? If not, then protecting your hair at night is a absolute must.
I've never used Kemi Oyl before, so I don't have any experience using this product. However, I have tried many over-the-counter haircare products before and unfortunately most of them only ended up doing basically nothing for my hair in the long run. So, I definitely understand why you decided to turn to Curls. As, there wasa time not to long ago, that I personally thought that I would never be able to get my hair back to looking healthy again like when I wasa child. But, eventually I was able to get my hair back heallthy again. And, much of this really ws the resuilt of me using the Curls products not just for a short time but long term instead.
